About the therapist

Hilary Black is a Registered Psychologist working with Psychotherapy.

Qualifications: M.Analytic Psychology (Jungian Studies,) PGDip Psych, GDip Psych, GDip Transpersonal Psych (applied), BSocSc, MAPS.

Hilary has a life-long interest in world religious and philosophical thought and has extensively studied and applied knowledge from these areas, including formal studies in Anthroposophy, Vedanta and Buddhism, in order to answer the pressing questions of human existence and meaning.  During foundational psychology undergraduate studies, she also received a double major in areas of Social Ecology and Critical Psychology.  Transpersonal methods in applied psychotherapy and the Masters in Analytical Psychology (Jungian studies) united  scientific and  mainstream studies with the more  diverse philosophical/cultural/spiritual aspects of her learning and practice.

Hilary continues to develop skills and expertise through professional courses in all areas of her work, including working towards membership with the International Society of Sandplay Therapists which is under the umbrella of the Jung Institute in Zurich.
